Tomaso Sports Park (opened in 2008) is located on the north side of Huntley off Ackman Rd. It was built on an open space agreement by the developers of Talamore Subdivision and is dedicated to former Village Manager Carl Tomaso, who passed away in 2008.
In addition to baseball/softball and soccer fields, Tomaso Sports Park features a recreation path, playground, and plaza area with restrooms. It also houses the Park District’s Smart Start Sports program, which aims to encourage young children to enjoy sports, exercise, and play with their families.
