Tomaso Sports Park is a 38-acre facility boasting 7 soccer/football fields, 6 baseball/softball fields of different sizes, a recreation path, a playground, and a plaza area along with a host of activities and programs for kids of all ages.

There’s also the 8000 square foot clubhouse with an impressive array of amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center, 2 swimming pools, a picnic pavilion with an outdoor fireplace, a tennis court, a party room with a kitchen, a game room, and a large outdoor chess area. There are plenty of reasons to live in this beautiful enclave, from the impressively stocked ponds to the nirvana of a coveted address in Huntley. You can even get your fix of golf thanks to the surrounding towns of Algonquin and Woodstock, as well as several high-end courses within a short drive. The Tomaso Sports Park has its own illustrious mascot, the Huntley Red Raiders Travel Softball program, whose team uses the facility as their home field for outdoor practice and home games during the spring and summer seasons.

The Huntley Park District is proud to offer a wide variety of sports, recreational and special events throughout the year. Some of these events include:

Tomaso Sports Park (opened in 2008) is located on the north side of Huntley off Ackman Rd. It was built on an open space agreement by the developers of Talamore Subdivision and is dedicated to former Village Manager Carl Tomaso, who passed away in 2008.

In addition to baseball/softball and soccer fields, Tomaso Sports Park features a recreation path, playground, and plaza area with restrooms. It also houses the Park District’s Smart Start Sports program, which aims to encourage young children to enjoy sports, exercise, and play with their families. Parking

Tomaso Sports Park Huntley IL offers a number of parking options. The most convenient option is a free parking deck located at the main entrance to the park. There are also many street-side parking spots available along the main artery into the park. If you have the time and inclination to make the trip from your home in the area, you will be treated to a day of fun and games.

The park itself is not particularly large but is well suited to a variety of sports. There are 8 dedicated soccer fields and 6 baseball/softball fields.
